Rest on your first night on arrival in Nairobi. Then start your trip on the second day, with a visit to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Meet these orphaned baby elephants before heading to Giraffe Centre where you will learn about the conservation efforts of the endangered Rothschild Giraffe. Fly to Amboseli National Park, World famous for the majestic views of the Mt. Kilimanjaro which forms the back drop of Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park is home to massive herds of elephants and you’ll experience exhilarating game drives along the swamps and get up close and personal with these gentle giants. Then Experience one of the most awe-inspiring natural events on the planet: the Great Migration between July to October. Every year, over 1.3 million wildebeest, zebra and other herbivores make the journey from the southern Serengeti to the Masai Mara in search of greener pastures. This is an unforgettable experience that you won’t want to miss.

Itinerary details
On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta international Airport and after clearing with the customs and immigration department, you will be met by our concierge team who will transfer you to Nairobi Serena i Hotel.
Overnight stay at Nairobi Serena Hotel. BB.
Day 2. Nairobi, Kenya.
After an early breakfast and your trip orientation briefing set out for a full day excursion in Nairobi and visit giraffe center (AFEW) well known for their conservation efforts of the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, the Sheldrick wildlife trust is famed for the orphaned baby elephants. Lunch will be served at the Carnivore Restaurant. After lunch visit the Karen Blixen museum before returning to your hotel.
Overnight stay at Nairobi Serena Hotel. BB.
Day 3. Amboseli National Park, Kenya.
Early breakfast is served, followed by check out and transfer to the Wilson Airport to catch your morning flight to Amboseli National park. Up on arrival you will be met by your driver guide and drive to your Lodge with game drive en route. Check in at the Lodge, lunch is served and after a short siesta depart for your evening game drive returning to your lodge as the sun sets.
Dinner and overnight stay at Tortilis Camp.
Day 4. Amboseli National Park, Kenya.
Guests will spend a full day in Amboseli National Park and enjoy early morning game drive, returning to the Lodge for breakfast and there after depart for a mid morning game drive till lunch. or an optional tour to a local maasai village.
After lunch enjoy some rest or relax by the pool before departing for an evening game drive returning to your lodge by sun set.
Amboseli is famous for its swamps and the big herds of elephants together with the majestic views of Mt Kilimanjaro the highest mountain in Africa (19341 ft) and the world’s free standing mountain that form the backdrop of Amboseli national park. There is plenty of game ranging from wildebeest, zebras, gazelle, hippo, lion and cheetah and the bird life is prolific with over 360 different species. Return to your lodge by sunset.

Day 5. Samburu National Reserve, Kenya.
After an early breakfast, check out and transfer to Amboseli Airstrip to catch your early flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport. Up on arrival connect to your scheduled flight to Samburu National Reserve. On arrival at the Samburu Airstrip you will be met and transferred to Elephant Bedroom Camp for check in and lunch.
There is time to unpack and unwind before our first game drive inside the Samburu National Reserve. Samburu offers a visual feast as proud Samburu herdsman coexist with the wildlife; many rare & endemic species thrive here including Grevy’s Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Besia Orys, Gerenuk, Olive Baboon, Guenther’s DikDik and Reticulated Giraffe; Leopard and Elephants.
Later enjoy your first game drive returning as the sun sets.
Dinner and overnight stay at Elephant Bedroom Camp.
Day 6. Samburu National Reserve, Kenya.
Early morning tea or coffee is served and thereafter proceed for an early morning game drive returning for breakfast. After breakfast, proceed for a mid-morning game drive and or visit a local Samburu village returning to the camp for lunch. After lunch, relax by the pool before setting off for an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge or camp as the sun sets.

Day 7. Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya.
Breakfast is served followed by a transfer to Samburu airstrip for your flight to maasai mara national reserve On arrival you will be met by your driver guide and transfer to Sand river Camp with game drive en-route for check in, lunch and probably after lunch, have a short break before embarking on your evening game drive, returning to your camp as the sun sets.

Day 8. Maasai mara, Kenya.
After breakfast depart with picnic lunches as you have another full day to explore the magic of the rolling plains of the masai Mara National reserve famous for the annual wildebeest migration one of the “seven wonders of the world ” it is native to the Mara River in Kenya. The masai Mara is home to the big five (lion, elephant, leopard, Buffalo and the rhino) plus plenty of other plains game not to mention of the over 350 different birds species found there.

Day 9, Nairobi, Kenya.
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the keekorok airstrip for your flight to Nairobi and up on arrival at the Wilson Airport, you will be met by a representative of Untouched Wilderness trips and drive to the Carnivore Restaurant for lunch and thereafter transfer to the Airport for your onward arrangements or Nairobi Serena Hotel for use of a day room and later transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta international Airport for your outbound flight.

TRANSPORT
For fly in trips you fly to your destinations and all arrival, departure transfers and game drives as specified in the itinerary is by our safari custom converted Toyota Landcruiser 4×4.

WEATHER
December to March is East Africa’s “summer” with daytime temperatures from 80°F-90°F and evenings from 50°F to 60°F. June, July, and August are the coolest months, with lows around 40°F and highs of 70°F-80°F. September, October, and November are warmer, with lows around 65°F and highs of 75°F-85°F. Scattered rains occur in November and early December, which help to lay the dust.
