On this trip after departing from Nairobi city, you will discover and explore the Maasai Mara National Reserve.  This is an impressive destination in Kenya teeming with abundant wildlife and serene landscapes. Enjoy the breath taking views and the beautiful sceneries of the Great Rift Valley and a visit to Lake Nakuru National Park famous for the flamingoes, the rear rothschild’s giraffe and as a rhino sanctuary. The trip ends in Amboseli national park, World famous for the majestic views of the Mt. Kilimanjaro which forms the back drop of Amboseli National Park referred to as the world’s free standing mountain and the highest in Africa. Amboseli National Park is home to massive herds of elephants and you’ll experience exhilarating game drives along the swamps and get up close and personal with these gentle giants.

Itinerary details

Day 1. Nairobi City, Kenya

Karibu Kenya – welcome to Kenya.  On Arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta international Airport Nairobi, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to Sarova Panafric Hotel.

Dinner and overnight stay at Sarova Panafic Hotel. BB

Day 2. Masai mara National Reserve, Kenya

After breakfast and trip orientation briefing, the trip departs for Maasai Mara National Reserve with a brief stopover at the Great rift Valley view point for a photo stop. Proceed to Maasai Mara National Reserve arriving in time for check in and lunch at Sarova Mara Camp. After lunch enjoy a short siesta before embarking for an afternoon game drive returning to the camp as the sun sets.

Day 3. Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya.

Guests depart after breakfast with picnic lunches for a full day game drive to explore the magic of the rolling plains of the Masai Mara National reserve famous for the annual wildebeest migration that made it to be graded as one of the “seven natural wonders of Africa”  it is native to the Mara River in Kenya. The masai Mara is home to the big five (lion, elephant, leopard, Buffalo and the rhino) plus plenty of other plains game not to mention of the over 400 different birds species found there.

Day 4. Lake Nakuru National Park, Kenya

This morning after breakfast the tour departs for Lake Nakuru National Park travelling along the rift valley’s western rim down the escarpment arriving for check in and lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge.

Lake Nakuru National Park is famous as an ornithological paradise with over 1 million flamingos and boasts of over 450 different birds species. This delightful park is also known as a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos. It’s also home to so many different species of animals including the Rothschilds giraffe, common zebra, Lion, Leopard, Jackal, Hyena and big herds of the cape buffalo.

After lunch, proceed for an evening game drive till sunset.

Day 5. Amboseli National Park, Kenya

Departure for Amboseli national park follows after an breakfast with a stopover at Lake Naivasha for one hour boat ride. There after proceed to Nairobi for lunch at Hilton Garden Inn. Travelers proceed to Amboseli national park after lunch arriving late in the evening.

Amboseli is famous for its swamps and the big herds of elephants together with the majestic views of Mt Kilimanjaro the highest mountain  in Africa (19341 ft) and the world’s free standing mountain that form the backdrop of Amboseli National Park. There is plenty of game ranging from wildebeest, zebras, gazelle, hippo, lion and cheetah and the bird life is prolific with over 360 different species. Return to your lodge by sunset.

Day 6. Amboseli National Park, Kenya

Morning tea and coffee is served and thereafter travelers depart for an early morning game drive returning for breakfast and there after proceed for a mid morning game drive returning for lunch. After lunch relax by the pool before proceeding for an evening game drive returning by sun set.

Day 7. Nairobi, Kenya

After breakfast, check out and depart for Nairobi arriving at Jomo Kenyatta international Airport for your onward arrangements. Or check in at Sarova Panafric Hotel for use of a day room and later transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta international Airport for your outbound flight.

TRANSPORT

All arrival, departure transfers and game drive as specified in the itinerary by our safari custom converted Toyota Landcruiser 4×4.

WEATHER

December to March is East Africa’s “summer” with daytime temperatures from 80°F-90°F and evenings from 50°F to 60°F. June, July, and August are the coolest months, with lows around 40°F and highs of 70°F-80°F. September, October, and November are warmer, with lows around 65°F and highs of 75°F-85°F. Scattered rains occur in November and early December, which help to lay the dust.
