Trip Overview

This Tanzania Adventure trip is a classic safari experience that offers fantastic wildlife viewing opportunities in some of Tanzania’s iconic destinations and is great for all nature lovers and wildlife photographers. The trip starts in Arusha – Tanzania with a visit to Tarangire National Park, well known for its huge elephant populations and the baobab trees. Travel to Lake Manyara and its tree climbing lions before heading to Serengeti national park which is home to the Great Migration, teeming wildlife across endless plains, dotted with trees, kopjes, and riverine forests. From Serengeti, descent to the ngorongoro crater, the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera that was formed when one big volcano erupted and collapsed on itself about in 2 – 3 million years ago has over 30,000 animals. This makes it to be referred to as “Garden of Eden” and  is one of the seven natural wonders of Africa.

Itinerary details

Day 1: Arusha: Arusha, Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where our team will meet, welcome and transfer you to Arusha Serena Hotel for overnight stay. Check into the Arusha Serena Hotel where you are booked on Bed and breakfast basis. This is a haven of comfort and relaxation as you look forward to an exciting safari adventure ahead.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park, Tanzania.

After breakfast and trip orientation briefing, embark on a scenic drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Keep your camera ready as Tarangire is home to diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, and leopards. Enjoy lunch at a lodge within the park. In the afternoon, continue your safari adventure in Tarangire National Park.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park, Tanzania

Spend a full day exploring the wonders of Tarangire National Park. Marvel at the baobab trees and observe the rich wildlife population, which includes large herds of elephants, zebras, giraffes, and more. Enjoy another night in Tarangire national park.

Day 4: Lake Manyara, Tanzania.

Depart from Tarangire National Park after breakfast and journey to Lake Manyara National park arriving in time for check in and lunch. After a short break or probably siesta, proceed for an evening game drive returning to your lodge as the sun sets. This park is known for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and diverse birdlife. After a day of game drives, relax at your lodge overlooking the lake.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park, Tanzania.

Drive to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, renowned for its stunning landscapes, wildlife and the annual Great Migration. As you enter the park, enjoy game drives en route to your lodge for check in and lunch. Keep an eye out for the “Big Five” and other wildlife. Late in the afternoon proceed for an evening game drive returning shortly after sunset.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

Depart after breakfast to explore the endless plains of the Serengeti to Witness the incredible wildlife, from lions and cheetahs to wildebeests and zebras returning to your lodge for lunch. After lunch and siesta proceed for an afternoon game drive returning to your lodge as the sun sets.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park, Tanzania.

Early breakfast is served followed by a departure for a full day game drive with picnic lunch boxes and get deeper in Serengeti ecosystem and explore more of the endless plains returning to your lodge shortly before or after sunset. Optional hot air balloon safaris are available for a unique perspective.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania

Drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping for game drives along the way arriving for lunch and check in. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “garden of eden.” Witness the diverse ecosystem and abundant wildlife in the crater.

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania

Spend a full day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater. Spot various wildlife species, including rhinos, lions, and hippos, within this natural sanctuary. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and return to your lodge.

Day 10: Arusha & Departure.

Drive back to Arusha for lunch and utilize a day room, where you can enjoy some last-minute shopping for souvenir. Later, we’ll assist you with your departure transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home, marking the end of your incredible Tanzania adventure Trip.
